"No one after lighting a lamp covers it with a jar or puts it under a bed, but puts it on a stand, so that those who enter may see the light. For nothing is hidden that will not be made manifest, nor is anything secret that will not be known and come to light. Take care then how you hear, for to the one who has, more will be given, and from the one who has not, even what he thinks that he has will be taken away.” Luke 8:16-18 (ESV) Why would you hide the obvious? Is it possible to hide the obvious? Can we ever really have secrets? God sees all, knows all, understands all, and still loves us. We have never been able to hide from Him, keep any secrets from Him, or successfully lie or manipulate Him. At times, we think we have a private life, and we might when it comes to people, but with God and the Heavenly hosts, we have never had a private moment. This might scare those who do not understand the love of God or those who have worked diligently at a reputation that has been perpetuated on perception. God has no perception., He just knows things the way they are. He knows things the way they are and He still loves us, sent His Son to die for us, and wants us to enjoy Him now and forever. There are many reasons to worship God. His love for us is perhaps the most powerful. |
