O Lord, how many are my foes! Many are rising against me; many are saying of my soul, there is no salvation for him in God. Psalm 3:1-6 (ESV)Those who fight against God will lose; there is no alternative. All fights have a moment when one might wonder what direction things are going to take, yet those who fight against God have a proven track record of disaster.
God protects those who come to Him for protection. His protection is beyond anything we could ever imagine. It may not be protection from the earthly dangers we face, but protection from the very Evil One, who would, in a minute, destroy both our life and soul should he have the opportunity.
