But God is my helper. The Lord keeps me alive!
Psalms 54:4Sometimes, I think I am the one helping God, yet He does not need my help to succeed. I am not needed; I am wanted. Any success I enjoy comes from the fact that God is my helper.
The word helper in the verse comes from a primitive root meaning to surround, protect, or aid. (Strongs)
Without God, I have no life, purpose, or hope.
Romans 8:31 tells us this: "What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us?"
Whatever the task at hand today, whatever the challenges I face, if God is my helper, I will not fail.
How do you view God?
