Anxiousness is the fruit of faithlessness that grows in the soil of ignorance

"And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? If then you are not able to do as small a thing as that, why are you anxious about the rest? Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass, which is alive in the field today, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more will he clothe you, O you of little faith!"    Luke 12:25-28 (ESV)

Being anxious is a waste of time. It is needless, fruitless, heathenish, and brutish. Being anxious robs us of enjoying life’s little pleasures that God has given us today, and it blinds us to His provision in the future.

Anxiousness is the fruit of faithlessness that grows in the soil of ignorance.

Anxiousness is curable if we want it cured, for we are anxious when we do not know God. If we do not know God, we cannot trust Him or rest in Him. Those who rest in Him are not anxious.

As usual, the key to a healthy life is knowing God. For now, the choice is mine.
