Jay Many people in the United States can tolerate all things except the ways of God. This is because the ways of God are specific, direct, and cannot be “sort of” right. If what God says is correct, then those who say something different are wrong. That is the way it is. God is not tolerant, and, in fact, only Satan/evil is tolerant. God is patient, wishing all men to repent, but tolerance involves an acceptance of things that are wrong, and God cannot do that. The flaw in those who preach tolerance is that their tolerance doctrine is based on not being tolerant to those who lack tolerance. This makes the basis of their belief system flawed at best. In reality, no one is truly tolerant, and nobody believes in “choice.” They just use those words when convenient to muster support for a “me first” ideology. |
