Those who understand, are not confused.

 

When the crowds were increasing, he began to say, “This generation is an evil generation. It seeks for a sign, but no sign will be given to it except the sign of Jonah. For as Jonah became a sign to the people of Nineveh, so will the Son of Man be to this generation.”  Luke 11:29-30 (ESV) We can demand that God do something to prove He is God, and have Him refuse, and He is still God. You can demand that I do something or say something to prove that I am Dave, and I might refuse, yet I am still Dave. We often live in a confused state, and Satan uses confusion to neutralize our effectiveness. Confused people live as confused people, and are unproductive, angry, scared, and alone. Those who understand what is happening around them are not confused, and they prepare daily for the onslaught of Satanic devices that will be hurled at them. They are often in tough situations, but not discouraged. They may be alone, but not lonely. They may be hated while loving and serving and gaining little reward. They live as if they know something, and they do. They actually know Someone, and they act like it.
